It is very rare when God allows us to see the fruit of our actions, and when He blesses us with this knowledge, we must shout it on the rooftop! A neighbor contacted our Connection Center seeking help with some home repairs. Our faithful Handyman Ministry visited her and offered to pray with her. She declined stating that she was not interested in spiritual things. However, at subsequent visits, she mentioned that she had been diagnosed with cancer and was possibly interested in learning more about their faith. The team leaders got permission to share her information with a pastor who then followed up weekly to provide guidance and encouragement.

After several weeks, the neighbor asked the pastor if she could be baptized! The baptism date was set and then the neighbor was given terrible news about her cancer diagnosis. There was nothing else that the medical profession could do for her. She spoke with the pastor, and she stated that she was at peace with this news because she KNEW SHE WAS LIVING FOREVER since she believed in Jesus! Praise the Lord!!

We thank God for our volunteers and for our partner pastors! Putting their love in action brought this neighbor to salvation and eternal life! There is nothing more important than that! We thank God for the work of the Holy Spirit through our ministries!
