What would you do if you had to choose between paying rent or buying food for your kids?
That’s the kind of impossible decision thousands of families face every day—and it’s exactly what you’ll confront during the Cost of Poverty Experience (COPE).

This powerful 2.5-hour simulation gives you a glimpse into the daily realities of living in poverty. Designed in partnership with individuals who have lived through these challenges, COPE is not just an event—it’s an invitation to experience poverty through a new lens.

For too long, well-meaning efforts to address poverty have overlooked the voices of those most impacted. COPE changes that. By immersing participants in real-life scenarios, it opens eyes, hearts, and conversations. You’ll walk away with a deeper understanding of the human and systemic barriers faced by millions—and a renewed drive to respond with compassion, clarity, and action.
